Bowen Island Montessori School

Bowen Island Montessori School (BIMS) is a small home-like school where children of different ages and abilities share the same dynamic interactive learning environment. Our school consists of three programs: daycare, preschool, and Kindergarten. Our goal is to provide an enriched environment, where children are encouraged to reach their fullest social, emotional, physical, and intellectual potential while preserving their childhood. Our school’s peaceful, non-competitive atmosphere promotes autonomy, critical thinking, and strong character building, while nurturing each child’s natural love of learning.
